Welcome to Tortazo, a new fast casual Mexican concept from celebrated chef, Rick Bayless.
Inspired by the vibrant food, colors, and culture of Mexico, Tortazo is a place of discovery – of bold flavors and new culinary experiences – but also a place where you will be embraced by the genuine warmth of Mexican hospitality.
Our first location opened in early 2020 at Catalog in Chicago’s iconic Willis Tower. Our second location is opening this September in New York City’s NoMad neighborhood. We look forward to seeing you soon.
We believe in an unwavering commitment to authenticity as our North Star.
We believe in celebrating the vibrancy of life in full flavor and experience.
We believe the life worth living is one of continual discovery and broadened horizons.
We believe in a contagious joy of life that manifests in shared smiles and laughter wherever we go.
We believe in the tenets of “Mexican Care” – hospitality that is unexpectedly caring, genuine, and enthusiastic.
